Rockets at Hornets live stream: How to watch online
By John Buhler
The Charlotte Hornets will host the Houston Rockets on Friday night. Here is how to watch this NBA game online via live streaming.
There will be seven NBA games on the schedule for Friday night. One of those games happening on Friday evening will be between the Houston Rockets (4-1) and the Charlotte Hornets (2-2).
Tipoff from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte will be at 7:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 27. AT&T SportsNet Southwest will carry the Rockets telecast in the Greater Houston area. FOX Sports Carolina will have the Hornets telecast in the Greater Charlotte area. The available live streams for this game can be found on NBA League Pass and on FuboTV.
Houston enters play at 4-1 on the year. The Rockets may have only gotten one game out of recently acquired superstar point guard Chris Paul, but Houston is doing just fine without him. Houston’s only loss was in the division to the rival Memphis Grizzlies. It’s early, but the Rockets do have the look as one of the four best teams in the Western Conference as many expected they would be at the start of the season.
Charlotte enters play at 2-2 on the season. The Hornets have been up and down in the first few games. This probably has to do with the team getting acclimated to having Dwight Howard down low at center. Ideally, the Hornets could have an elite pick-and-roll partnership with Howard and point guard Kemba Walker. However, these sort of things take time. Charlotte should be a playoff-caliber team in the East this season.

According to SportsBook Review, the Hornets will be getting three points at home from the visiting Rockets. The associated moneylines for this game are Houston -145 and Charlotte +125. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 212.5 points.
Swallow the three points to take the Rockets to win and cover on the road. Houston still has the best player on the floor in this game in shooting guard James Harden. He is more than capable of carrying this Rockets team on his back en route to a road victory.

Expect Charlotte to keep it interesting, but Harden will lead his team to victory in the fourth quarter with nearly a 40-point effort on his behalf. Charlotte isn’t bad, but the Hornets aren’t an NBA Finals contender like the Rockets think they are.
