The Seahawks are rolling with three wins in their last three games. Can they sustain their success when the Texans come to Seattle on Sunday?

The Seattle Seahawks have begun to return to their previous form over the last few weeks, as they’ve strung together a three-game win streak in the last four weeks of the 2017 season. Now, they’ll go up against a sleeper threat when they battle the Houston Texans on Sunday.

While the Texans defense doesn’t provide the same threat as it did when J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus were healthy and terrorizing quarterbacks, Houston’s offense has come together with rookie Deshaun Watson’s growth under center.

The Seahawks’ offensive line caught a break when Watt and Mercilus went down, and it’ll be interesting to see if they thrive against a lesser pass rush, mainly led by Jadaveon Clowney. If they can provide Russell Wilson with some time in the backfield to make accurate throws, it could be a big day for the Seahawks offense.

Odds: Seahawks -4.5, according to Sportsbook Review

The Seahawks have begun to embrace their unique passing attack over the last few weeks, with Doug Baldwin and Paul Richardson both providing some threats in the red zone for pay dirt. However, they’ll have to get their run game going against Clowney and the Texans defensive line in order to get their passing game to be as effective as it can be.

I believe that this one should be an offensive shootout, with both teams lighting up the other’s defense throughout all four quarters. Although he’s young, Watson has shown he can light up the best of them offensively, and feel like he could be in for a big game, even against the Legion of Boom on the road.

I think the Seahawks take this one in a real battle, not meeting the odds in a game decided by a late field goal.

Prediction: Seahawks 30, Texans 27
