We know the third game of the World Series is on Friday, but what time does Game 3 actually start?
Fans were tortured with the dreaded travel day on Thursday following one of the greatest baseball games in recent memory. But there’s no need to fret, baseball fans, Friday is upon us and it is game day once again. The Dodgers and Astros headed to Houston, where the teams will play the next three games, with the series all tied at one. It may have taken 11 innings to crown a winner in Game 2, but there was no shortage of emotion as the two sides took fans on a roller coaster ride until the last pitch.
After hearing so much about the bats of the Houston Astros heading into the series, the offense was finally put on display in Game 2. Houston posted seven runs on 14 hits, including four home runs. Meanwhile, the Astros held the Dodgers to just five hits.
Regardless, the Dodgers held their own until the very end. But in the end, George Springer’s two-run home run in the 11th inning proved too much for Los Angeles. The Astros had tied the series and found a way to rattle the Dodgers’ bullpen.

Game 3 has even more question marks than Game 2, as well. The two starters, Yu Darvish and Lance McCullers, have the potential to throw a gem. But it’s the World Series, there’s no telling what’ll happen. One thing that is sure to happen, however, is great baseball between the league’s two top teams.
Game 3’s first pitch will be thrown out at 8:20 p.m. ET from Minute Maid Park on Friday night. FOX will broadcast the game live once again as the 2017 World Series continues from Houston. Game 3 will be the first World Series game played in Houston since 2005.
