ESPN College GameDay analyst Lee Corso is back for his latest headgear pick.

Saturday mornings in college football season belong to College GameDay on ESPN. Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and other analysts break down the upcoming day of action. This includes the game they’re on site for. In Week 9, it will be No. 2 Penn State at No. 6 Ohio State in Columbus, OH.

College GameDay visited Penn State’s campus in Week 8. The Nittany Lions played and defeated Michigan, keeping their high-ranking spot in the AP Poll. Week 9 will have greater implications, however, against a better team that’s higher in the polls.

For Ohio State, it’s the opportunity to break into the top four and be part of this season’s first College Football Playoff Ranking on Halloween night.

GameDay analyst Corso will get to choose between the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes for his Week 9 headgear pick. It’s always the most entertaining part of the show and the final segment of the three-hour program before the day’s action starts. So, who will he choose?

Corso donned the pumpkin head with an Ohio State hat.

Penn State will ride its success on running back Saquon Barkley. He’s all but guaranteed to be a candidate for the Heisman Trophy in December. It’s not just the flashy plays but the elite production he’s put up that made him stand out.

Ohio State has quietly received a good year from quarterback J.T. Barrett. He’s thrown just one interception and has 26 total touchdowns. The offense revolves around him and running back JK Dobbins, the team’s leading rusher.

There’s a compelling case for Corso to pick Penn State or Ohio State. Either way, it will be a tough decision, one that riles up the latter’s campus with cheers or boos. The game then kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
