The Ohio State Buckeyes debuted some new uniforms in their huge matchup with the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday, and Twitter wasn’t too impressed.

It’s not going well for the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes in the early going of the titanic clash with the No. 2 Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon in Columbus, and their new uniforms are likely to blame.

Ohio State announced it would be wearing grey alternate uniforms with scarlet helmets and LeBron cletes for its biggest game of the year. A national audience was not impressed, as nobody on the internet seems to have anything to say about the new jerseys.

Penn State apparently isn’t a fan either, as the Nittany Lions are crushing Ohio State five minutes in. Saquon Barkley ran the opening kick back for a touchdown, and Penn State extended the lead to 14-0 moments later following a Buckeyes fumble.

Naturally, that has led to even more jokes about the uniforms. Here are the best Twitter reactions to the jerseys, which will likely be retired after today.

Expect the Buckeyes to switch back to their classic uniforms next week at Iowa.
