The San Diego State Aztecs aim to get back on following two consecutive losses, and fans hoping to live stream the game against Hawaii can watch online.

The San Diego Aztecs fell quickly from a Top 20 team and New Year’s Six bowl game candidate to second place team in the Mountain West’s West Division, a full two games behind Fresno State in the standings, and without the benefit of a tiebreaker following the 27-3 loss to the Bulldogs last week. With only four games left to play, the chances are slim for San Diego State to win a third straight conference championship.

And despite taking on a seemingly inferior Hawaii team, it won’t be easy for the Aztecs to get back in the win column. San Diego State has played eight games in eight weeks, and the ninth in a row will be held across an ocean following a 5.5-hour flight. The Aztecs already looked tired Saturday against Fresno State, but the Rainbow Warriors should be fresh having played just seven games and coming off last weekend’s bye.

Nevertheless, because San Diego State boasts one of the nation’s best running backs, senior Rashaad Penny, and a stingy defense, the Aztecs are a 9.5-point favorite to beat Hawaii. More information on this matchup is available from SportsBook Review.

But the Aztecs will have their hands full. In addition to the challenges posed by fatigue and travel time, Hawaii has its own great running back, Diocemy Saint Juste, who leads the Mountain West with 156.3 rushing yards per game (Penny ranks second with 139.4). Saint Juste and quarterback Dru Brown have led the Rainbow Warriors to more than 450 total yards in every game this season. The balanced unit averages 219 rushing yards and 261 passing yards per contest.
