The Texas Longhorns face the Baylor Bears on Saturday, Oct. 28 in college football Week 9, and here’s all the info you need to watch.

It’s been for the past few years that we’ve been waiting on the Texas Longhorns to finally break through and essentially return to their former glory. However, it hasn’t been something that’s been realized just yet. Under Tom Herman in the 2017 college football season, though, they appear closer than they have in a long time, which Baylor will find out on Saturday.

Sam Ehlinger has become a sensation at quarterback for the Longhorns, truly setting the Big 12 ablaze with his play. Armed on the other side of the ball with Malik Jefferson, this Texas team is dangerous and can challenge just about anyone, as they’ve shown.

Baylor has challenged teams too, but to no avail. They’re winless entering this home matchup in their first season under Matt Rhule. They have plenty of turmoil in the program to deal with, so we’ll see if they have any shot at turning it around.

Baylor will have a tall task ahead if they want to grab their first win of the season and under Rhule. Texas has been playing great football as of late, even with less than ideal results. As such, they’ll be a tough matchup, even as the Longhorns go on the road.
