The Texas Tech Red Raiders face the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Oct. 28 in Week 9 of college football, and here’s all the info you need to watch.

It certainly feels as if the Oklahoma Sooners have been flirting with danger. They barely beat the Texas Longhorns after losing to Iowa State. Then the Sooners just got by Kansas State a week ago as they were able to keep their one-loss record in tact. Now they face another potential test as they welcome Texas Tech to town.

Baker Mayfield remains phenomenal, which no one inside or outside of Oklahoma can deny. However, the defense has been troubling as of late, conceding a lot of points. Even the best quarterback in the world can only do so much.

Texas Tech has an offense that could take advantage of the Oklahoma defense. Kliff Kingsbury’s team is fiery and able to turn up the heat. They’ll be looking to do that as they face Mayfield, a guy who he butted heads with when the latter was in Lubbock.

In a vacuum, Oklahoma should be able to win this game. However, this stuff isn’t played in that environment. As such, don’t count out a Texas Tech team that’s explosive on offense against a Sooners defense that has been suspect at best throughout the year.
