UCLA and Washington will go head-to-head in a battle of Pac-12 teams. A look at how to watch it online.

UCLA vs. Washington will be one of the many college football games taking place in Week 9. It’s a battle of Pac-12 teams with standings implications.

Washington had a terrific start to the 2017 college football season. They were 6-0 and sat atop the Pac-12 after wins over Colorado, Oregon State and Cal, all of which were convincing victories of more than 25 points. However, Week 8 proved to be costly for the Huskies. They were shut down by the unranked Arizona State Sun Devils and lost, 13-7.

This loss pushed Washington out of the top 10, moving to No. 12. This won’t destroy potential College Football Playoff hopes, but given the perception that the Pac-12 is the weakest of the five conferences, the odds aren’t great of them returning for a second consecutive year.

Saturday afternoon’s game against UCLA won’t be any easier, despite the team’s 4-3 record and inconsistent play. They’ll have to face quarterback John Rosen, considered one of the best at his position.

Rosen had a successful game against Oregon in Week 8. He threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-14 win. It brought his season total to 2,620 passing yards and 19 touchdowns. Very good numbers but since the Bruins are 4-3, it won’t put him in the running for the Heisman Trophy.
