The Pittsburgh Panthers will host the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday afternoon in Week 9. Here is how to watch this ACC Coastal rivalry game online.
We’ve made it to Week 9 in the 2017 college football season. One game happening between ACC Coastal rivals will feature the Virginia Cavaliers (5-2) and the Pittsburgh Panthers (3-5).
Kickoff from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh will be at 12:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 28. The ACC Network will have the telecast. The available live streams for this game can be found on WatchESPN and on FuboTV.
Virginia is starting to figure it out under second-year head coach Bronco Mendenhall. That was the plan in prying him away from BYU to begin with. The Hoos enter play at 5-2 on the year and just win away from achieving bowl eligibility. Credit to Mendenhall and the job he is doing in Charlottesville. Virginia is definitely a threat to come out of the ACC Coastal this year, believe it or not.
Pittsburgh is not doing so hot as Virginia this season. The Panthers are just 3-5 and are not in the mix to come out of the ACC Coastal this season. Frankly, it will be hard for the Panthers to achieve bowl eligibility this season. Pittsburgh is running out of games and has to start playing better in ACC play.

It’s interesting to see Pittsburgh laying two points at home. Last year, that spread would have been bigger than that. However, wouldn’t Virginia be the better team entering play on Saturday afternoon? Probably take the Cavaliers getting points in this one. We know that Mendenhall wants his team to get to bowl eligibility sooner rather than later.
