With the release of the Week 10 AP Top 25, which college football teams won and lost in the newest poll?

It’s been a wild season thus far, to say the least. Teams have come out of nowhere to jump into the College Football Playoff conversation and this is the first week that those rankings will be released. However, the AP Top 25 will still be a relevant poll.

The Top 25 this week looked a little different thanks to some interesting upsets and big wins in ranked matchups by teams like Ohio State, Iowa State and Notre Dame. Each of those programs has moved up in the polls, but is it enough to really make a dent in the playoff rankings which will be released this week?

Winners and losers in the AP Top 25 will likely have a direct correlation on the playoff ranking risers and fallers each week. For Ohio State, beating Penn State at home by one point will catapult the Buckeyes back into the playoff race. Notre Dame has already been in the race, but a win over NC State just improves that resume. Lastly, Iowa State is a long shot, but anything is possible.

The newest rankings have officially been released and there were some big winners and tough losers who rose and fell, respectively, in the poll. Teams like Penn State, Michigan State, Washington State, NC State and nearly Stanford fell in tough fashion this past weekend. Did any of them land on the list of losers?

Take a look at the biggest winners and losers from this week’s release of the AP Poll.
