After 10 games, Napoli are first in Serie A, with 28 points. However, Inter Milan, Juventus, and Lazio are only three few points behind Napoli in the table. On Sunday, Napoli host Sassuolo, who are 15th, and only two points above the relegation zone.
Napoli have the best goal differential in Serie A, scoring 22 more goals than they have allowed. Last weekend, Napoli dropped points for the first time this season, playing Inter to a scoreless draw. Napoli returned on Wednesday and defeated Genoa 3-2 with Dries Mertens scoring twice. Mertens has been excellent this season, scoring nine goals and adding three assists. With José Callejón and Lorenzo Insigne playing on the wings with Mertens in the middle, Napoli have one of the most underrated front threes in the world. Callejón and Lorenzo have combined for seven goals and seven assists.

Sassuolo have struggled to score goals this season, only pointless Benevento have scored fewer goals. Matteo Politano has scored two of Sassuolo’s five goals this season but the club has only scored once in their past three games. In addition to struggling to score, only seven clubs have allowed more goals than Sassuolo who will likely be under pressure for all 90 minutes against Napoli.
