Just a reminder that the classic tournaments on DraftKings truly are classic. They do not allow for late swapping. The late swap tournaments are much, much smaller, so we have to decide if we want a fair match, or if we want to win big money. We shouldn’t have to decide that!

Point Guards
Best Bets:
Stephen Curry ($9,100): Curry continues to average better than 5x value, even at his price tonight, which is at a season high. Curry has not been below 40 DraftKings points si9nce the opener, and he has only been under 45 once since then. He has a solid floor and decent upside for the price.
Kyle Lowry ($7,600): There is a reason that I took a step down here. Kemba Walker dominated Orlando in his last outing, but Memphis has allowed the second fewest fantasy points to point guards this year. Kyrie faces a San Antonio team that shut down Lowry last week. I will go with Lowry because of a better matchup against Portland.
Honorable Mention:
Ricky Rubio ($7,300): Rubio has picked it up lately against the Lakers and Suns. Dallas also struggles defending the point, which means Rubio should be in line for another good night of near 6x value. His shooting has been better this year, but he does so many things well that Rubio always has a strong floor.
Jrue Holiday ($7,100): Holiday was glad to see the Brow back. Holiday saw more room to operate on the outside, and he is a good enough shooter to make teams pay for packing the middle. Holiday has blown past 5x value in each of his last three games. This looks like a trend that should continue with Davis back.
Goran Dragic ($6,500): The Timberwolves are the worst team in the league defending the point, a title that they have held for most of this young season. That isn’t going to change anytime soon. Dragic has been remarkably consistent this year, picking up between 29 and 34 DraftKings points in every game. He is a strong play with considerable upside against Minnesota.
Dark Horses:
D.J. Augustin ($5,500): Elfrid Payton is still out, which means another start for Augustin. He was a non-factor against Charlotte, but he has a much easier path tonight against the Pelicans, who are still without Rondo. Don’t expect miracles from Augustin, but 6x value is very possible.
T.J. McConnell ($4,400): The continued absence of Markelle Fultz has afforded more run for McConnell. He has made the most of it. McConnell has picked up 69.75 DraftKings points in the two games with Fultz out of the picture. Expect another strong value game tonight.
J.J. Barea ($4,300): I’m not crazy about the matchup, but Barea has been strong all season while hanging in this price range. That has kept him a strong 6x value throughout the year. If you are worried about high ownership on McConnell, Barea should come close to his production at much lower ownership.
My picks: Holiday(PG), Augustin(G); Dragic(PG), McConnell(G)

Shooting Guards
Best Bets:
James Harden ($11,200): Harden has only hit value once in seven games this year. That’s it. So why do I consider him tonight? Because the Sixers are the worst team in the league allowing points to shooting guards. Harden could still be running the point quite a bit even if Chris Paul plays, but he may actually be worth this monster price tag tonight. Maybe.
DeMar DeRozan ($7,900): DeRozan has hit value in all but one game since the opening dud. Portland is a solid defensive team, but DeRozan is rolling right now. He should be somewhere near 40 DraftKings points tonight.
Honorable Mention:
Jimmy Butler ($7,200): Remember him? Butler finally had his first 20 point game as a Timberwolf against the Thunder on Friday. Why? He got to the line. Butler provided a nice all-around stat line, and while he wont be the monster he was with the Bulls last year, Butler is still too cheap for what he is capable of. The Heat are the second worst team in the league against shooting guards. This looks like a good place for Butler!
Evan Fournier ($7,000): Fournier continues to produce way above his normal output with Payton on the bench. It has been Fournier that has seen the largest uptick in production besides Augustin. As long as Payton is out again, Fournier is a strong play at this price.
Dark Horses:
Jeremy Lamb ($6,100): We have seen Lamb have a few really strong games with Nicolas Batum out. This is nothing new. Lamb routinely produces when given the minutes. He will have a lot of minutes again against a Memphis squad that has been average on off guards. He is a strong threat for 6x value again.
Jonathon Simmons ($4,400): Simmons dumped in a career best 27 points in his last outing. He has been a huge scorer for the Magic off the bench, and will continue to see a few more minutes with Payton sidelined. Of course, scoring nights like that aren’t the norm, but he has the ability to do it.
My pick: Simmons(SG); N/A

Small Forwards:
Best Bets:
Kevin Durant ($9,800): Durant is averaging 5.1x value on the season, even on a team full of stars. He is an elite scorer, and does enough other things to give him a high floor. He has only been under 44 DraftKings points once, and never under 40 this year. He has a high floor. His ceiling is a little bit lower because of the team around him, but you can count on KD for 45 DraftKings points every single night.
Ben Simmons ($9,200): Simmons has broken the 50 DraftKings points mark twice in the last three games. He is the star on a young team seemingly full of them right now. Expect a shootout with the Rockets, which should carry Simmons above the 50 point plateau once again.
Honorable Mention:
Andrew Wiggins ($6,800): Wiggins has seen his production dip a little with Jimmy Butler asserting himself more on the offensive end. This is not a bad thing for the Timberwovles, but it hurts us a little bit in DraftKings. Still, Wiggins’ price has adjusted accordingly, and he is still capable of putting up big numbers. He is a solid value play for this price.
Jayson Tatum ($5,800): Tatum is a much more reliable option that Jaylen Brown right now. He sees plenty of minutes, takes enough shots, and does enough on defense to give him a high floor for this price range. Tatum will never be the focal point of the offense this season, but DraftKings is all about finding good value. Tatum looks like just that.
Dark Horses:
Harrison Barnes ($5,300): Barnes has quietly put up solid numbers in Dallas this year. He struggled through an injury riddled 2016-17 season, but has averaged 5.7x value this year. With all of the uncertainty at the guard positions with Seth Curry out, Barnes has taken advantage at small forward, but it seems as though many have not taken advantage of his value. More should.
Joe Ingles ($5,200): Ingles has only had one bad game. That was when he was sick against the Clippers. Other than that, Ingles has had 25 or more DraftKings points in every game. He doesn’t have a high ceiling, but Ingles does plenty to get value for those that use him.
Tyreke Evans ($4,900): Evans has a solid role in Memphis. He has racked up more than 30 DraftKings points in each of the last two games. Charlotte has a pretty good defense, buty Evans is still a capable scorer and good rebounder on the second unit. That still makes him a solid value play.
My pick: Simmons(SF), Barnes(F); Barnes(SF), Ingles(SG), Evans(UTIL), Tatum(PF)

Power Forwards
Best Bets:
Anthony Davis ($11,000): Davis never missed a beat while ripping up the Cleveland interior in his first game back after tweaking his knee. Any time New Orleans takes the court, Davis and Cousins are both worth playing if you can fit them into your lineup. They both dominate in different ways, but they both cram the stat sheet for DraftKings purposes.
Blake Griffin ($9,300): It is worth noting that Griffin has seen a decrease in DraftKings points in every game this season. Of course, he has not been below 40 yet. That likely wont happen against the Warriors either. Griffin played well against Golden State last year. There is no reason to think that changes this season.
Honorable Mention:
LaMarcus Aldridge ($8,500): Aldridge isn’t just holding the fort down in the absence of Kawhi Leonard, he is holding the whole team together. He is often the only bright spot on the team lately. Teams are trying to shut him down, which limits his value. He really needs someone to step up around him to be consistently worth his price though.
Kristaps Porzingis ($8,400): There are strong options across the board at PF tonight. Porzingis has scored at least 30 points in four of the five games this year. The occasional dud may happen, but I doubt Denver can hold him down enough to keep him under 42 DraftKings points.
Aaron Gordon ($7,500): Gordon has shown the ability to dominate at times this year. However, he did struggle with the size of the Spurs and the Heat inside. That could mean a problem tonight against the monsters inside for the Pelicans. Statistically, Davis hasn’t really held down opponents. Though with Gordon’s big size disadvantage, I am a little concerned about using him.
Dark Horses:
Kelly Olynyk ($5,500): Olynyk provides more upside than James Johnson despite not starting with Whiteside out. Johnson is the most consistent option, but he is $1,100 more. Olynyk has outscored Johnson in three of the last four, but the one that he missed was a total lineup-killing 8.5 DraftKings points dud.
Taj Gibson ($4,300): Gibson has outplayed Gorgui Dieng by miles so far, and is gradually taking more minutes from him. Gibson is a strong defensive player, but as long as he doesn’t have much of a role in the offense, he is difficult to rely on. However, with Miami battered up front, Gibson could be a pretty good play tonight.
My pick: Gibson(PF); Davis(PF)

Center:
Best Bets:
DeMarcus Cousins ($11,600): Cousins struggled so much with the Brow back that he put up a triple-double. He still outdid Davis in DraftKings even though he wasn’t needed as a scorer as much with Davis back. Davis is usually the one with the higher ceiling, but as we have seen this year, both of them routinely shatter 5x value, even at these massive prices.
Karl-Anthony Towns ($9,000): Towns did whatever he wanted against Oklahoma City on Friday. He could have a similarly easy time against the Whiteside-less Heat again tonight. The Timberwolves looked like a different team with Butler back after being blown out twice in his absence. Towns may not rack up 66 DraftKings points again, but 50 seems likely.
Honorable Mention:
Joel Embiid ($8,100): I trust Embiid if he plays over Jokic. The Knicks are very strong inside with Porzingis and Kanter. So I will move to Embiid against Houston, who could dominate this game if his hand is okay. Preliminary reports look good, so Embiid should be good to go!
DeAndre Jordan ($7,300): The Warriors struggle defending centers, and Jordan has maybe eclipsed Andre Drummond as the premier rebounder in the league. That has kept Jordan’s output high even if he doesn’t light up the scoreboard. I like Jordan a lot against the Warriors tonight.
Dark Horses:
Clint Capela ($6,700): Capela absolutely dominated the Sixers in their first meeting this year, having the best game of his young career. That game was on Wednesday. Not much has changed in five days. I expect another strong game from Capela tonight.
Bam Adebayo ($3,200): Jordan Mickey was ineffective, so Adebayo got the nod in their last game against Boston. Adebayo was decent in his first start, but I expect a better game tonight against Minnesota. The Timberwolves have done a lot of things well so far this season, but defense isn’t one of them.
My pick: Jordan(C), Capela(UTIL); Capela(C)
