A new way for Big Baller Brand to make money? LaMelo schooling NBA players at Pop-A-Shot

Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball had a 20th birthday party that proved to be expensive for his teammate Jordan Clarkson.
The Big Baller Brand has found yet another way to make money, this time at a 20th birthday party for Lonzo Ball, the second overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Ball’s teammate Jordan Clarkson, 25, also a point guard, was in attendance Sunday at the celebration of the completion Ball’s teenage years at a Dave and Buster’s, which Ball rented out for his 20th birthday festivities.
Also in attendance was Ball’s youngest brother LaMelo, who is now home-schooled and set to graduate high school as a member of the Class of 2019. He committed to play for UCLA back in the summer of 2015, although it remains to be seen if he will or not since the fact that he has a shoe deal may make him ineligible.
Ball, 16, is ranked #7 on the 2019 ESPN 60 for NCAA basketball recruiting and is currently the top prospect who has already committed to play for a particular school in the 2019-2020 season.
Despite having this background knowledge, Clarkson decided that it be a great idea to challenge Ball at Pop-A-Shot during Lonzo’s 20th birthday party … with a few hundred dollars worth of cash as the spoils. When Ball was through with him, Clarkson found his wallet to be $200 lighter.

As crazy as it may sound given the interesting public image he has, LaVar Ball, the father of the Ball brothers who is the founder and CEO of Big Baller Brand, is, in fact, a businessman. While $200 may not seem like much for this family, the fact that LaMelo won it the way he did could result in LaVar trying some kind of promotion for the growing company involving something as crazy as trying to beat his sons at a game like Pop-A-Shot. With this man, nothing can be ruled out.
