2. Aggressive Astros stay in the game

Despite being down 4 runs in the 1st inning, the Astros never gave up. They twice added runs in increments of three, which was a big blow to the Dodgers when the Astros tied the game.

The Game 5 Astros played an aggressive game, never allowing the Dodgers to feel comfortable. Once they took the lead, the Astros made sure to answer every run with runs of their own.

Both teams are tired. Both teams are hurting. A five-plus hour game didn’t help either side, but the Astros were focused and ready to keep going. This isn’t to say that the Dodgers weren’t playing hard, either, because they were. We haven’t seen this kind of run-for-run game in the postseason so far because the majority of wins came with a nice buffer in the score.

Now, the Astros are leaving the friendly confines of Minute Maid Park for a Los Angeles fanbase that wants to see their team win at home. The weather has cooled off and the ball might not carry the way it did in the first two games of the series, but if the Astros play Game 5 baseball in Los Angeles, they just might claim the World Series win on Halloween night.
