The ACC seems to get crazier and crazier after every week, and Week 10 was no different. See who shifted around on this week’s power rankings.
The ACC has been a madhouse over the last few weeks, and Miami has remained the one constant in all of the insanity, even with some close games to show for it.
The Hurricanes remain the lone undefeated team in the entire conference, as they moved to 7-0 with their win over North Carolina in Week 9. They may not have the same talent level as a team like Clemson, and may not be able to make a lot of noise against some of the teams in the top four like Clemson could, but that “0” in their loss column looks really nice right about now.
Outside of Miami, we saw plenty of other big wins over the weekend, with Boston College routing Florida State at home and Wake Forest laying down the law against Louisville. With all of that in mind, plenty of moves happened on the power rankings this week, and there’s fresh blood all over the place on the list heading into Week 10.
Check out the power rankings for the ACC below, and see where your team lines up in all of the madness:

This one is just starting to no longer need explanation, and it’s just something everyone should expect when they open up this article every week and look at the last team on the list.
While they actually kept things close in a one-possession game with the top-ranked Miami Hurricanes in Week 9, the Tar Heels moved to 1-8 on the season. Things aren’t looking great down in Chapel Hill as we near the tail end of the 2017 regular season, and we’ll see if the Tar Heels can even get to two wins on the year before it all wraps up for good.
This one makes me angrier and angrier every time I have to see it. The Duke Blue Devils, for a team with so much promise towards the beginning of the fall, have completely fallen off the bus recently, and couldn’t even surpass three points in their game against Virginia Tech on Saturday.
While Virginia Tech is a great team and highly regarded in the ACC, as we’ll get into later, this Duke squad just can’t even meet their full potential. It’s becoming more and more evident that they’re just a bad team, which is weird considering how well they played at the beginning of the season. You’re making me look bad, Blue Devils, and I can’t forgive you for that.
