The Astros took a 3-2 lead over the Dodgers in the 2017 World Series. Here’s everything you need to know to watch Game 6 on TV and online.
The Houston Astros won a big Game 5 over the Los Angeles Dodgers to take a 3-2 lead over the Dodgers in the 2017 World Series. With the win, the Astros head to Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers a critical Game 7 on Halloween Night. The Astros have a chance to walk away with the World Series title in Game 6, while the Dodgers can stay alive with a win and live to play in Game 7 on Wednesday.
Sunday’s Game 5 just might go down in history as one of the best World Series games in history. The five-plus-hour-long game was a battle of wits as both teams traded 3-run homers to take the lead. After the Dodgers scored three runs to tie the game in the 9th inning, the Astros’ Alex Bregman’s drop-in single drove in the game winner in the 10th inning. The final score, 13-12, doesn’t do the game justice. This was a game for the ages.
The Astros have ace Justin Verlander (RHP, 15-8, 3.36 ERA, 219K) on the mound against Los Angeles’ Rich Hill (LHP, 12-8, 3.32 ERA, 166 K). Fortunately for both teams, the weather has cooled down quite a bit in Southern California and they can expect a high of 70 degrees.
