Qarabag stunned Atletico Madrid in their last Champions League game, holding the heavily favored Spanish side to a 0-0 draw. The result is even more impressive for Qarabag considering that they had to play the final 15 minutes down a man after Dino Ndlovu was sent off following his second yellow card.
The two clubs meet in the return fixture Tuesday in Madrid. Entering the fourth game of the group stage, Chelsea lead the group with seven points. Roma are second with five points, Atletico are third with two points and Qarabag are four with a single point.

Atletico Madrid’s loss to Chelsea is the club’s only loss this season. In La Liga, Atletico are fourth with 20 points. However, Diego Simeone’s side has struggled to score goals. Atletico have scored 17 goals in all competitions this season but five of those goals were scored in one game. Madrid have been held goalless in four of their 14 games this year. If Atletico are going to advance to the Champions League knockout stage, they need to beat Qarabag, who will likely use a very defensive game plan and play for another draw. Antoine Griezmann has been disappointing, scoring only four goals this season in all competition. To make things worse for Atletico, Koke and Yannick Carrasco are both injured and are not expected to play on Tuesday.
