NFL quarterback rankings, Week 9: Russell Wilson dominates

The Seattle Seahawks pulled off the win of the season on Sunday, and Russell Wilson was the catalyst with an incredible performance.

For those who don’t know, these rankings are calculated using a combination of past performance, current play and projected showing in the future.

32. Whoever is playing quarterback for the Cleveland Browns (Prev: 32)

We aren’t talking about this. It’s a disgrace regardless of the man under center.

31. Brett Hundley (Prev: 31)

Hundley is coming off a bye week after having a hideous 87-yard performance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 7. If he can’t move the ball against the Detroit Lions on Monday night, signal the alarm bells.

30. Mitch Trubisky (Prev: 28)

Trubisky might have a bright future ahead, but right now, there are struggles. Through three games, the No. 2 overall pick is completing 47.5 percent of his throws. Not good enough.

29. C.J. Beathard (Prev: 27)

Beathard is trying to prove he belongs on the NFL, but his performance on Sunday didn’t help. The former Iowa standout threw for 162 yards and a pair of interceptions on 17-of-36 passing.

28. Joe Flacco (Prev: 30)

Flacco was unfortunately knocked out on a cheap shot by Kiko Alonso last week. Before the hit, Flacco actually made a terrific downfield throw to Jeremy Maclin for a touchdown. Still, his season has mostly been terrible.

27. Trevor Siemian (Prev: 25)

Simeian threw two of the worst interceptions I’ve ever seen on Monday night. If he’s not benched before next Sunday, Vance Joseph should be fired.

26. Blake Bortles (Prev: 29)

Bortles has to play better to keep Jacksonville in the playoff mix. To this point, there have been accuracy issues mixed in with interceptions. Can Bortles simply do enough to not overturn the proverbial apple cart.
