It’s time to get Elongated, and we tell you how to make sure you are watching live when it happens.
Barry Allen is lucky to have a strong group of friend and family around him as the Flash, but he could always use another super-powered buddy. The thing is, it’s possible Ralph Dibny is going to be more friend or foe, at least initially.
In the comics, the Flash and Elongated Man are longtime friends who have handled many weird situations together and teamed up as members of the Justice League. But going into this week’s new episode, “Elongated Journey Into Night,” all we know is that Barry and Ralph already have a history together — and not necessarily a good one.
On top of that, we’re expected to get some more insight into the mind of the Thinker, and Cisco Ramon may still have problems with his interdimensional dating of Gypsy thanks to her dad. Said dad is played by the great Danny Trejo, not exactly someone you want to tick off.

In any case, this is an episode you won’t want to miss if you’re enjoying the lighter tone of season 4 overall, as Ralph should be good for some laughs too. Here’s what you need to know to watch live:

The Flash has a bunch of other running (pun probably not intended) subplots going as well, including but not limited to Joe West and Cecile moving in together, the upcoming Barry and Iris wedding, the departure of Wally West, the return of Harry Wells and whatever is going on with Caitlin Snow. We’d expect to see at least a few of those get some forward motion this week too.
That means you’ll definitely want to tune in and watch “Elongated Journey Into Night” and welcoming the Elongated Man to the mix, but if you can’t, be sure to check back in with us here at FanSided.com for our Speed Force-powered recap and review.
