Borussia Dortmund were heavily favored when they went to Cyprus to face Apoel Nicosia but were surprisingly held to a draw. Both teams are six points behind Real Madrid and Tottenham heading into the fourth game of the group stage.
Peter Bosz has been heavily criticized for his tactics in Champions League. Pundits have been critical of how Bosz has elected to set up his team and failing to win in Cyprus. Dan-Axel Zagadou started in Dortmund’s last game but was sent off with a red card. Bosz has experimented with defensive midfielder Julian Weigl moving down to center-back. If APOEL are going to shock Dortmund again, it will likely be because of defensive errors from Dortmund that Nicosia capitalize on.
