College Football Picks Against The Spread October 31-November 3, 2017
My college football pick em points were down to 32 last week. Thankfully the spread picks have been doing a little better this year! Through eight weeks, I am at 222-200 with a net total of 49 betting points. Let’s add to that!

For those of you that are new here, I put myself out there every week. For the last six years, I have picked every single college football game. Sounds easy, right? I thought so too. So I have picked them all against the spread. That significantly increases the degree of difficulty.
I take the average of the odds from the six major Vegas casinos and round that to the nearest half point. There will be no ties here. Ties are for the other football.
Some site will sell you top ten picks for a fee. Some will even give you a couple of free picks to lure you in. This is every game picked, all for free.
I will assign a point value “bet” on each game, between one and five points. That way you can see just how confident I am in each pick. Look for those at the end of each line.
I cannot be responsible for you losing any of your worldly possessions, significant others, or limbs to a loan shark. This is for entertainment purposes only! I am a simple person. I cannot have that on my conscience.
We have the biggest week of college football so far this season. There is a full 61 games slate, all of which are FBS vs. FBS matchups! Ten of those take place before the Saturday smorgasbord! Let’s get to those picks first. If any of these lines change drastically before kickoff, they will be updated here!

Bowling Green(-3.5) at Kent State(3): This line looks low. Kent has been seriously awful this year. The Falcons have actually been able to move the ball a little bit. Bowling Green by at least a touchdown, and probably more.
Miami(OH) at Ohio(-10.5)(3): Normally I would say that this is too many for a rivalry game, but Miami is a shell of its former self without Gus Ragland. This could get ugly. Bobcats cover this.
Just so you know I’m honorable and not cheating:
Article not finished yet, but my picks against the spread for tonight: BGSU-2.5 with 3 confidence points and Ohio-10.5 with 3 points

Central Michigan at Western Michigan(-3.5)(3): Why is this line down so far? I would have had a hard time deciding when it opened at -7, but now this looks pretty easy. I say Broncos by a TD at home.
Northern Illinois at Toledo(-8.5)(2): This looks a tad high. Northern Illinois had a pretty solid defense. They should be able to keep this at a touchdown since both of their losses were by six points or less. Give me NIU.
Ball State at Eastern Michigan(-23.5)(2): That’s a lot of points, but Ball State is still without QB Riley Neal and RB James Gilbert. Give me the Eagles.
Navy(-8.5) at Temple(2): Temple has been pretty awful this year. Army didn’t cover them, but this Navy offense is better than Army. I’ll take the Middies at home.
Idaho at Troy(-18.5)(2): Troy has been a double digit favorite four times this season. They have not covered a single one of those, including losing outright to South Alabama. This is a bit too high. Give me Idaho.
Marshall at Florida Atlantic(-7.5)(3): Lane Kiffin sure has the Owls playing well right now. I’ll jump aboard with them. Give me FAU!
(23)Memphis(-12.5) at Tulsa(3): This actually looks low. Tulsa doesn’t have good enough quarterback play to keep defenses off of Brewer anymore. Memphis could run off with this. Give me the Tigers.
UCLA at Utah(-6.5)(4): Less than a TD at home against the Bruins? This looks give wrapped. Utah by double digits!
