Is Empire new tonight, November 1? We let you know if there’s a new Empire season 4 episode airing on FOX this Wednesday and what to expect next.
Is Empire new tonight, November 1? Fans may be wondering if they’ll see a new episode on Wednesday given that FOX is broadcasting the 2017 World Series.
There are two answers to that question. Empire is not new tonight if the MLB World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros has reached Game 7. It will return next Wednesday, Nov. 8.
If the World Series has already ended, then Empire is new tonight, Nov. 1 in its regular time slot of 8 p.m. ET.
We do know what’s going to happen in the next episode of Empire season 4. In “Bleeding War,” Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) makes a breakthrough in his recovery with the help of his nurse Claudia (recurring guest star Demi Moore).
But it may be too little, too late as now Lucious’ lack of memory has become public knowledge and threatened his professional standing.
It’s up to Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) to protect her ex and their family business, and she does so by inviting the press to watch Lucious in action. But will he hold up under the spotlight, or could it backfire on her?
Forest Whitaker returns as Uncle Eddie to lend Lucious a helping hand, while Taye Diggs and Phylicia Rashad also return, so there’s going to be some star-studded scheming going on in Empire season 4, episode 5.
“Bleeding War” could be a big episode in the fourth season now that the truth has been exposed and will leave the Lyons scrambling to protect what’s theirs from those who’d seek to use the situation for their own advantage. But when the Lyons are provoked, they bite back, so it could also be one of the season’s most entertaining.
