Is Thor Ragnarok in 3D? It sounds like a no-brainer that Marvel‘s latest Thor movie would come out in 3D, since both the original Thor film and sequel Thor: The Dark World both received the 3D treatment.
And indeed, it is a no-brainer. You will be able to see Thor Ragnarok in 3D when it premieres this weekend. The film will be available both in standard 3D and in IMAX 3D formats, for those of you who want to have the complete mind-blowing Mjolnir experience.
Because who wouldn’t want to see this movie in 3D? There’s gods! Heroes! An Incredible Hulk! And if there’s not at least one shot of Thor’s hammer flying toward the audience and making everyone duck, that’d be a huge missed opportunity. Watching Ragnarok in 3D is a whole other level of fantastic.
So now that you know Thor Ragnarok is in 3D, here’s how you can get your Thor Ragnarok 3D tickets.
For standard 3D showings, you can purchase tickets online through Fandango. For showings in IMAX 3D, you should visit the movie page at the IMAX website, and pick up your tickets there. Be aware that not all theaters will offer both options, and that some theaters will be showing the film as early as 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2.
So make sure you get tickets for the right theater and type of 3D showing you want, and look out for those advance screenings!
Then once you have your tickets for Thor Ragnarok in 3D, grab your popcorn and just remember to duck when Mjolnir or a giant green Hulk comes flying off the screen.
