Is Thor Ragnarok in IMAX? Movie fans may be wondering if Marvel is releasing the newest Thor film in IMAX when it premieres this weekend, and if so, how they can get tickets to the film in the upscale format.

The answer to that question is yes, Thor Ragnarok is in IMAX. The new film is being presented both in IMAX and in IMAX 3D, so fans can enjoy all of Ragnarok‘s eye-popping visuals with the best picture and sound currently available.

Because if you’re going to do a movie about literal gods fighting for the greater good, how could you not offer it in IMAX? Considering the scope and scale of this movie and how many effects are going to be in it, of course it deserves the IMAX option. If you’re going to have all the bells and whistles, you want to use them, right? You’re not going to this movie not to have it look and sound awesome.
