Twitter explodes after the Los Angeles Dodgers answered back to the Houston Astros on Tuesday by tying up the World Series forcing a Game 7 for Wednesday night.
It has been one heck of a World Series, arguably one of the best in recent memory — and Game 6 did not disappoint.
The Houston Astros looked to take their first-ever World Series championship when they traveled back to Los Angeles to face off with the Dodgers who were down one game in the series. Unfortunately for the Astros, they may have to wait a little longer.
The Dodgers came back from a one-run deficit to take a one-run lead in the sixth inning, bringing Dodgers fans to their feet as though their prayers had finally be answered. And at least for tonight, they have.
Ater a home run single by Joc Pederson in the seventh inning, the boys in blue tacked on another insurance run to put the final score 3-1. Thanks in part to Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen, the Astros failed to score again and a Game 7 was secured.
After a heart attack-inducing Game 2 and Game 5, the rather mellow Game 6 was a much-needed rest for fans blood pressure and vocal chords — but it didn’t keep the keyboard warriors from prepping for battle.

Game 7 will take place on Wednesday night in Los Angeles and will settle the score once and for all. It’s likely that Clayton Kershaw will take the mound at some point for the Dodgers in Game 7.
If the Dodgers win, it will be their first World Series victory since 1988 when the team defeated the Oakland Athletics. If the Astros win, it will be their first World Series title in franchise history.
