The Dodgers came back in Game 6 to beat the Astros and force Game 7. Here’s everything you need to watch Game 7 of the 2017 World Series on TV and online.
It was a must-win situation for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Halloween night and the Dodgers stunned the Houston Astros with a 3-1 win to tie the series and force Game 7. Now the teams will meet one more time at Dodgers Stadium with the World Series title on the line.
Game 6 started with a pitchers duel as Justin Verlander and Rich Hill kept the game scoreless through the first two innings before George Springer’s solo home run put the Astros on the board in the 3rd inning. The Dodgers answered in the bottom of the 6th when Chris Taylor hit an RBI double and Corey Seager’s sacrifice fly drove in a run to make it 2-1 Dodgers. It was Dodgers all the way after that, with Joc Pederson’s solo shot in the bottom of the 7th to seal the deal.
In Game 7 expect to see a battle between Houston’s Lance McCullers (RHP, 1-0, 2.95 ERA, 16 K) and LA’s Yu Darvish (RHP, 2-1, 4.15 ERA, 14 K). These two last met in Game 3 when McCullers worked 5.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs while Darvish underperformed after allowing 6 hits and 4 earned runs. Fortunately, both bullpens are rested and ready to step in with everything on the line.
It’s time for Game 7 and the World Series title is up for grabs.
