NFL Week 9 2017: What do Color Rush uniforms look like?

Week 9 of NFL Color Rush features a divisional matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. What will the uniforms look like for each team?

It’s Thursday and you know what that means… tonight we’ve got Thursday Night Football. After a 40-0 blowout last week, this week’s matchup is expected to be a lot closer on the scoreboard.

Tonight, the Buffalo Bills (5-2) head on the road to East Rutherford, New Jersey to take on their divisional rivals New York Jets (3-5). The game will kick off at MetLife Stadium at 8:25 p.m. ET. It’s a set to be a great division matchup but we are also focused on the Color Rush uniforms the teams will be wearing tonight.

No all-red uniforms for the Bills this season. They’re going with the white out look in tonight’s game.

Once again, I don’t mind this look, but the Bills aren’t the first team to go with the all-white Color Rush uniforms this season. I thought the point of the uniforms was for each team to have their own unique look. After a while the look gets old, but nevertheless, that’s what the Bills are rocking with tonight.

On the other side, the Jets are going with the Kelly green. It’s that throwback green that is one of the best looking Jets uniform combinations you’ll see. Hopefully these don’t blend into the turf too much tonight but I think it’s a great look. Hopefully it can bring the Jets the same success that the older teams had.

Divisional games always seem to be close and I expect the same tonight. Both teams have already exceeded expectations this season. Even the Jets, who were though to be competing for a No. 1 draft pick, are playing it close with the best in the league.

The Bills look like legitimate playoff threats this season. And now after trading for Kelvin Benjamin, it could be one of the final pieces they need to make a deep postseason run. A win tonight keeps them in pace with the Patriots in the AFC East.
