The 2017 NFL season is at the halfway point. It will be Week 9 across the league this weekend. One game going on between two AFC teams on early Sunday afternoon will feature the Baltimore Ravens (4-4) and the Tennessee Titans (4-3). Kickoff from Nissan Stadium in Nashville will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on Nov. 5.
Baltimore enters play at a respectable 4-4 on the season. The Ravens have been a team that is very much ebb and flow this year. Some weeks, they’ll shutout the Miami Dolphins 40-0 in a primetime spot. Other weeks, they’ll get blown out by the London’s Finest Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley. Baltimore will finish somewhere near .500 this season, not much better or worse.
Tennessee enters play at 4-3 and in first place in the AFC South coming off their Week 8 bye. The Titans hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the rival Jaguars but haven’t been as impressive in the first half as many would have liked them to be. Tennessee’s most recent game is an overtime field goal fest over the winless Cleveland Browns in Northeast Ohio. Yuck!
