We’re getting ready to see the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys clash at AT&T Stadium. Which team will come out on top of this contest?
The Kansas City Chiefs are enjoying another terrific season under head coach Andy Reid. And the first overall pick in the 2005 NFL draft is a big part of that success. Despite being sacked 22 times in eight games, quarterback Alex Smith is completing a blistering 69.1 percent of his passes and has served up 16 interceptions while not throwing an interception.
So when the Chiefs invade AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon, can the Kansas City offense exploit a Dallas Cowboys’ team that has allowed exactly 35 points in each of its last two home games (losses to the Rams and Packers)?
It’s going to be an entertaining afternoon in Dallas as Jason Garrett’s club begins life without running back Ezekiel Elliott for the next six games. Can Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden get the job done?

Line: Pick ‘em
Over/Under: 51
That over/under you see listed here should tell you something about what we could be in for this weekend. In eight games this season, the Chiefs have scored 25 total touchdowns and surrendered 21. In seven outings, Dallas has reached the end zone 24 times and given up 18 total TDs. Is it any wonder that this contest (via OddsShark) is basically a coin flip?

Yes, no Ezekiel Elliott adds up to bad news for the Dallas Cowboys. But losing a key part of your offense doesn’t have to be devastating when you have competent backups such as Morris and McFadden and your offensive line performs like it has the last two games. This is a very solid Kansas City Chiefs’ team but the defense depends on takeaways and turning those opponent miscues directly into points. The NFL’s 28th-ranked run defense will more than have its hands full in Dallas on Sunday afternoon. And the Cowboys’ defensive unit will get a few key stops down the stretch.
Pick: Cowboys 24, Chiefs 20
