All three of NASCAR’s top series bring their playoffs to Texas Motor Speedway as time draws shorter for any driver chasing a championship.
We’re coming down to the wire, getting to the nitty gritty or any other cliche you’d like to use to describe how little time is left in the 2017 NASCAR Playoffs. All three series are at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend to start sorting things out for the final championship drive, culminating in the AAA Texas 500 for the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday.
In the Cup Series, Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch seem to have separated themselves a bit from the pack with two races remaining in the Round of 8, meaning the other two spots for the championship race at Homestead are the ones worth watching. Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick currently occupy them, but Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Blaney and Denny Hamlin are all very much in the mix, and anyone could steal a spot with a win at Texas.
Things are even tighter in the XFINITY Series and Truck Series, so you’ll want to take in as much of the action from Texas Motor Speedway as possible. Don’t forget that with all three series running, both NBC and Fox are involved in the coverage.
