The Brooklyn Nets head to Hollywood to battle the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, Nov. 3. Here is how you can watch the game online.
The Los Angeles Lakers host the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, in a battle of perennial draft lottery teams. Except there’s now reason for optimism within both fan bases. Especially, for Lakers’ fans. Lonzo Ball has infused the renewed belief around this talented, young roster. The organization notably chose Ball as its future, when they decided to trade incumbent 21-year-old point guard D’Angelo Russell to the Brooklyn Nets. Although Ball’s shot isn’t falling, he’s still averaging 10.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists thus far.
The Brooklyn Nets are 3-5 on the season thus far, including a big win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Nets guard D’Angelo Russell leads the team in scoring with 21.7 points per game. Brooklyn acquired Russell from Los Angeles in exchange for Brook Lopez over the summer. Consequently, this will be Russell’s first time facing the team that drafted him No. 2 overall in the 2015 draft. Additionally, we can all assume he wants to spite the Lakers for moving him after just two years. More importantly, the Nets appear to have improved significantly and should not be taken as lightly as in years past.
