Week 10 of the college football season is finally here. There will be some battles among the top NFL Draft Prospects that could impact their stock.
The final month of the regular season is upon us and bowl season is all the more closer. Week 10 of the college football season provides plenty of huge battles while providing yet another golden opportunity for the top NFL Draft prospects.
We saw plenty in action last week and it was a great bounce back week for some. For others it was more domination and great tape to add to their resume. Others didnāt have the week they were hoping for and that led to a slide.
However, itās always important to finish the year strong and thereās no better time than now to step up and put in the best tape of the year. Hereās how the top 32 NFL Draft prospects stack up leading into Week 10.
With just one more win needed to reach bowl eligibility, have the wheels fallen off for the Virginia Cavaliers. For the second straight week, the team came out slow and let the Pitt Panthers jump all over them.
Micah Kiser finished the game with seven tackles and one for a loss. As one of the leaders of the defense, Kiser is going to have to play a big role in getting things turned around on that side of the football.
As for his draft stock, heās in a class that features some other talented players in the inside. When thereās multiple at one position group, it can be a quick fall out of the top 32 and first round overall.
The good news is that Virginia and Kiser can get a big momentum boost at home with Georgia Tech coming to town. Look for him to be near the top of the tackles list again when this one is over.
As is the case every week this season, Dorance Armstrong remains a special talent on a bad Kansas football team. The star EDGE prospect had a nice day against the Kansas State Wildcats this past week.
While the stat sheet will show just one tackle in the loss, he was all over the field. His speed allows him to keep up with every play and he was chasing guys down the field with a relentless passion.
That motor and the special athleticism he has continues to serve him well. While the entire season is yet another bust for the Jayhawks, Armstrong continues to bring it each week and that will stand out as well.
The Jayhawks will have a home game this late into the season against a program with a worse record than them, surprisingly. They play host to Baylor and another chance for Armstrong to put up some big tape before his season ends.
