Redskins at Seahawks: Preview, prediction, odds and pick

SEATTLE, WA - OCTOBER 29: Tight end Jimmy Graham

The Seahawks are rolling after a huge win in the last-minute against the Texans. Can they keep up the momentum against the Redskins in Week 9?

The Seattle Seahawks are beginning to return to their scariest form as Halloween goes by in the rearview mirror, and somehow it’s their offense picking up steam as their defense falters. They’ll hope to keep their offense clicking when the Washington Redskins come to town on Sunday for a Week 10 battle in Seattle.

Both teams have high-powered offenses to work with, but the Redskins saw things fall apart when the weather rolled in for their home game against the Dallas Cowboys. Their offense needs to get back on track quickly, and a matchup against the Legion of Boom may not be the ideal recipe for that.

Meanwhile, to make things even worse for the Redskins, the Seahawks added Duane Brown from the Houston Texans to bolster their offensive line, just days after a comeback win at home over their trading partner. While the chemistry may not be there right away, it’ll be interesting to see how Brown does in front protecting Russell Wilson in the Seahawks offense.

Odds: Seahawks -7, according to Odds Shark

The matchup may have been a bit more interesting a few weeks ago, but that won’t stop this one from being an absolute battle on both sides of the ball. The Seahawks are strong on both offense and defense, and the Redskins have the potential to end their winning streak in an instant.

I see the Seahawks continuing their roll and taking care of the Redskins at home, but not without a fight. The Seahawks offensive line may have some chemistry issues to work out, but I think they come alive in the fourth quarter for a closely contested win.

Prediction: Seahawks 23, Redskins 17
