Here’s how to watch Saturday’s crucial ACC clash between the No. 13 Virginia Tech Hokies and No. 10 Miami Hurricanes online.
A pair of ACC contenders will clash on Saturday night when the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes host the No. 13 Virginia Tech Hokies in a contest with major College Football Playoff implications.
Miami is one of five undefeated teams remaining in the FBS, yet debuted all the way down at No. 10 in the initial playoff committee rankings due to a soft schedule. It’s been a struggle for the Hurricanes recently with four straight narrow wins over unranked opponents, but going 7-0 is impressive nonetheless in Mark Richt’s second season.
With running back Mark Walton out for the season with an ankle problem, the offensive has leaned heavily on quarterback Malik Rosier and receiver Braxton Berrios, who have hooked up for six touchdowns. Junior defensive back Michael Jackson has racked up four interceptions to lead a passing defense that is surrendering just 5.3 yards per attempt, trailing only Alabama nationally.

Virginia Tech has been flying under the radar a bit since losing to Clemson on Sept. 30, but is all the way up to No. 13 with a mark of 7-1. The Hokies have surrendered 20 total points during their three-game winning streak, and can take over sole possession of first place in the ACC Coastal with a win over Miami.
Quarterback Josh Jackson has exceeded expectations in his freshman campaign with 2,032 yards and 17 touchdowns to four interceptions, plus 193 yards on the ground to rank third on the team. Virginia Tech’s defense ranks second nationally with 11.5 points per game allowed following the recent hot streak, with linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Andrew Motupuaka wrecking opposing offenses all year long.

Odds Shark lists Miami as a narrow 1.5-point favorite in what should be one of the most exciting games of week 10. The Hurricanes are certainly capable of winning at home, but will need their best performance of the season given their recent form.
