With just a few races left before the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion is crowned, here’s how to watch the drama unfold in Texas.

You already know all about the old saying that everything is bigger in Texas. But when it comes to the AAA Texas 500, the stakes really don’t get much bigger for the drivers still alive in the 2017 NASCAR Playoffs.

Sunday’s race at Texas Motor Speedway isn’t a cutoff race, and Kyle Larson can tell everyone all about what it’s like being in good shape during one of those. Still, there’s plenty on the line for the competitors who currently sit outside the top four in the playoff standings, and Chase Elliott, in particular, is running out of time to make something happen.

He almost did that at Martinsville before Denny Hamlin got into him and spoiled a shot at his first ever win. As a result, Elliott is now the driver who needs the best day at the AAA Texas 500 … but he’s starting in the worst position, rolling off 34th in his Hooters Chevrolet.

The other seven drivers are all starting in the top 10, with Hamlin leading the way on the outside of Row 1. Kurt Busch is on the pole, and probably wouldn’t mind grabbing another victory even though he’s already been eliminated from the playoffs since his 2018 plans have yet to be finalized.

With all that in mind, you’ll want to be watching live on Sunday afternoon if at all possible. Here’s all the info you need:
