ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to Miami this week. The people have decided they want Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the celebrity picker.
The Miami Hurricanes have been out to prove that they are indeed for real. After the way they took care of Virginia Tech in impressive fashion, the undefeated Hurricanes are on a collision course with Notre Dame this week. ESPN’s College GameDay will be live from Miami for the huge game. That of course means that the people want The Rock as celebrity picker.
As one of the most notable players to wear a Hurricanes uniform, Dwayne Johnson proudly represents “The U” whenever he gets a chance to. While he made his name via acting and professional wrestling, his football career at Miami helped provide a launching point for him to eventually become “The People’s Champion.”
With his ties to the program, it only makes sense that Twitter was calling for him to be the celebrity picker this week. Countless tweets immediately began pushing for him to be celebrity picker after it was announce that the show is going to Miami.
