College Football Picks Against The Spread November 7-10, 2017

I had a rough week in college football pick em. I know I missed my ten pointer for the first time this year, but I also know I picked that game right against the spread. We have 11 games before Saturday this week. There is money to be made here!

More from College Football Odds

For those of you that are new here, I put myself out there every week. For the last six years, I have picked every single college football game. Sounds easy, right? I thought so too. So I have picked them all against the spread. That significantly increases the degree of difficulty.

I take the average of the odds from the six major Vegas casinos and round that to the nearest half point. There will be no ties here. Ties are for the other football.

Some site will sell you top ten picks for a fee. Some will even give you a couple of free picks to lure you in. This is every game picked, all for free.

I will assign a point value “bet” on each game, between one and five points. That way you can see just how confident I am in each pick. Look for those at the end of each line.

I cannot be responsible for you losing any of your worldly possessions, significant others, or limbs to a loan shark. This is for entertainment purposes only! I am a simple person. I cannot have that on my conscience.

We have another big week of college football this week! There are 60 games, with only UMass slumming against FCS Maine. The other 59 are all FBS matchups. Let’s get to the ones before Saturday!

Akron at Miami(OH)(-6.5)(2): It looks as though Gus Ragland will be available again, but he is clearly not 100%. Give me Akron.

Bowling Green at Buffalo(-8.5)(2): These two teams seem to be moving in opposite directions. Bowling Green hung 44 on Kent (I know…..it’s Kent), but the Bulls have lost four in a row since that heartbreaking 7OT loss to Western Michigan. I think the Falcons keep it within a score, if not win outright.

Kent State at Western Michigan(-21.5)(3): WMU has not been great this year, but Kent may be the worst FBS team, and is definitely the worst team in the MAC. Broncos roll!

Toledo(-3.5) at Ohio(1): This is a tough one. The Rockets have covered four straight spreads. For the Bobcats it’s three. Ohio hasn’t played a close game in a month. Neither has Toledo. I just don’t know that Toledo is good enough to win this on the road, but it’s going to be a fun game to watch! Give me Ohio at home.

Eastern Michigan(-1.5) at Central Michigan(3): The Eagles have been playing better overall and are more consistent than the Chips. And, well, EMU desperately needs this one to make bowl games in consecutive years for the first time since their jump to FBS. Give me the Eagles.

Ball State at Northern Illinois(-31.5)(2): NIU has found a quarterback, and the Cardinals are still without their offensive battery. This is a lot of points, but I have to take the Huskies.

Georgia Southern at Appalachian State(-17.5)(2): This looks high. The line opened here and hasn’t even moved a half point. The Mountaineers have only covered one spread this year (they also busted one against Wake), and that was a month ago. Give me GSU, who hasn’t been covered in back to back games.

North Carolina at Pittsburgh(-9.5)(4): This looks low. Like way low. The Pitt offense has played well under Ben Dinucci, even though Max Browne has better numbers. Whatever the case, this is going to look like an elite unit against this sorry North Carolina D. The Tarheels have given up at least 20 points in every game, and at least 30 in six of those. Give me Pitt.

Temple(-2.5) at Cincinnati(4): So, the Bearcats beat Tulane and all of the sudden they are on the level of a Temple team that just ousted Navy? I don’t buy it. Temple by at least a touchdown, and probably more.

(12)Washington(-5.5) at (21)Stanford(3): This actually looks low. Stanford’s defense has been gutted by UCLA, Arizona State, USC, and to some extent, San Diego State. Washington’s defense is good enough to contain Love, meaning he will have to work a lot harder for yards than he has had to lately. Give me the Huskies.

BYU at UNLV(-4.5)(3): I don’t know that I buy this, but these teams have played Fresno in the last two weeks. UNLV won. BYU did not. Give me the Rebels at home.
