Week 10 of the college football season is in the books but recruiting never stops. Let’s take a look at the updated recruiting rankings.

As the season progresses, national title contenders continue to reveal themselves while others prove to be pretenders. There’s still plenty of time left in the final month of the season for these contenders and pretenders to reveal themselves, but life is different in the recruiting world.

In fact, there are consistent contenders for top names in the recruiting landscape, such as Ohio State and Alabama, and they continue to dominate the team rankings each season. Is that the case after the 10th week of the year?

Who moved in the top 10 team rankings this week?

Let’s check out the 247Sports top 10 rankings after the 10th week of action:

  1. Ohio State: 18 commits
  2. Texas: 18 commits
  3. Penn State: 22 commits
  4. Miami: 18 commits
  5. Georgia: 18 commits
  6. Oregon: 23 commits
  7. Florida: 19 commits
  8. Oklahoma: 20 commits
  9. Notre Dame: 18 commits
  10. Florida State: 19 commits

Penn State jumped Miami at No. 3 which shows that James Franklin still has it despite two straight Big Ten losses, but Ohio State remains firm at No. 1.

The other big move was Notre Dame jumped Florida State at No. 9 and that’s no surprise given the fact that Brian Kelly has likely pulled off the best coaching job of anyone in the nation. The Fighting Irish are looking like a playoff team. That’s attractive for these young stars.

Now, here’s a look at the ESPN rankings after Week 10:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Texas
  3. Penn State
  4. Miami
  5. Georgia
  6. Oregon
  7. Florida State
  8. Florida
  9. Oklahoma
  10. Notre Dame

Georgia jumped three spots in ESPN’s top 10 after being ranked No. 8 last week. As long as the Bulldogs keep winning, they’re going to continue to reel in the nation’s top recruits.
