Here’s how the top 10 Group of Five teams stack up heading into week 11.

Following several Saturdays full of chaos, Week 11 returned to relative normalcy in the Group of Five ranks.

The top four G5 contenders all picked up victories, although it wasn’t easy for a few teams. UCF, the lone remaining G5 undefeated squad, got all it could handle in a 31-24 win at SMU, the Knights first one-score contest this season.

Hot on UCF’s heels is Memphis, which crushed Tulsa on Thursday night to move to 8-1 and keep first place in the AAC West. Boise State, USF and San Diego State all won by double digits to round out the top five teams in the power rankings, although everyone has a long way to go to catch the Knights in the New Year’s Six race.

The only major surprise came on Wednesday night in Athens, where Ohio thoroughly dominated red-hot Toledo 38-10. Frank Solich is doing a terrific job with the Bobcats improving to 8-2 on the season, while the Rockets will need to go back to the drawing board ahead of a likely rematch in the MAC Championship Game. Navy also fell victim to a 34-26 upset loss at Temple on Thursday night, as the Midshipmen fell out of the power rankings at a disappointing 3-3 in conference play.

Several G5 teams have taken control of their respective conferences, with a few season-defining showdowns still to come. Here’ how the top 10 Group of Five schools stack up heading into week 11.
