The Good Place is one of the funniest shows currently on television, but is the Kirsten Bell/Ted Danson series new on NBC tonight?
I want to shout it from the mountaintops. The Good Place is the funniest shows on television and if you’re not watching the show from Michael Schur, you’re missing out on comedy genius, and you should be banished to the bad place for the rest of eternity.
Okay, that’s laying it on a bit thick, but the first part of that statement holds true. The NBC series is the funniest show on TV and I can’t recommend the show enough. There are few great comedies on TV anymore, and the ones that are on TV usually resort to low-hanging fruit for their humor, which isn’t really funny at all, unless you’re 13.
Having said that, The Good Place is so well-written and the actors are so delightful and it’s so easy to see the DNA from previous Schur shows like The Office and Parks and Recreation. The quick dialogue and wit make for the best 22-minutes you can watch on TV today. I wish each episode was longer, and I wish it was on every day.

That’s why I’m so bummed that The Good Place is not on this week. Thursday Night Football returns to NBC on Nov. 9 and will remain there for the rest of the regular season. This means it’ll be two months before The Good Place is back with new episodes.
Hi the 8th episode of season 2 of The Good Place airs tonight. It's the last one for 2 months because of football. 8:30 NBC. Ok bye.

The Good Place will return for the rest of season 2 on Thursday, Jan. 4 at its regularly scheduled time. In the meantime, you can watch the first seven episodes of season 2 on NBC and you can start from the beginning and rewatch season 1 on Netflix to help pass the time.
Until new episodes are back on NBC, this is the bad place.
