Sherilyn Fenn guest stars opposite Shemar Moore in Thursday’s episode of SWAT. Here’s how you can watch SWAT season 1, episode 2 live, on TV and online.

Things are already getting personal in CBS‘s SWAT reboot. The second episode of the Shemar Moore-led revival involves a family member of one of Hondo’s teammates, and as is normal for TV, it’s not going to go well.

Season 1, episode 2 is called “Pamilya” and features Sherilyn Fenn, of Twin Peaks fame and that great guest spot on Cupid, as the incarcerated mom of newbie officer Jim Street (Alex Russell). She wants him to use his job to do her a favor. We’ve seen this kind of “bad news relative” storyline on other series, like Chicago PD on NBC, which brought in Markie Post as Erin Lindsay’s mom whom she had to get out of trouble. So how will SWAT season 1 make it a different story?

“Pamilya” also includes a story about drug trafficking. So far, SWAT season 1 has been off to a good start, but this episode will show how it’s going to separate itself from all the other police dramas in recent memory.

"Newcomer Jim Street jeopardizes his spot on Hondo’s team when he agrees to do a favor for his incarcerated mother that endangers his SWAT career. Also, the SWAT team searches for the ruthless mastermind behind a drug trafficking ring that forces immigrants to be mules."
