The Detroit Lions will take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and will be looking to avoid being the first team they beat this season.

The Detroit Lions are only two games out of first place in the NFC North, after beating the rival Green Bay Packers on the road in Week 9. The Minnesota Vikings currently sit atop the division, but the Lions certainly have enough firepower on offense to catch them before the season ends. On Sunday, the Lions will play host to the Cleveland Browns, so the odds are in their favor that they bring their record above the .500 mark.

For Cleveland, it is another lost season, as they head towards the first overall pick in the NFL Draft for the second straight year. While 2017 first overall pick Myles Garrett has looked good at times, their second round pick has struggled in his rookie season. DeShone Kizer was drafted to be the franchise quarterback the Browns have been looking for, but he has been wildly inconsistent under center.

Detroit is very tough at home, and for the Browns, they are still trying to figure everything out offensively. They did get former star wideout Josh Gordon back this past weekend, but he is not eligible to play in a game for the next few weeks. With Detroit currently surging, not even Gordon would have made much of a difference in this one.

Odds

Line: Detroit Lions (-9.5)

Over/Under: 43.5

The Lions are big home favorites in this one, as they are giving 9.5 points to the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. The over/under is set at 43.5, and most of those points are going to come from the Lions. This line will change a lot throughout the week, so head on over to OddsShark.com for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction

This one is going to be pretty one-sided, as the Browns are just lost as a franchise at this point. Stafford is playing at an MVP level this season, and after going on the road to beat Green Bay in Week 9, he will find some easy sledding at home against the winless Browns. With the loss, Cleveland will once again be in place to select first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Final Score: Lions 30 Browns 10
