DraftKings NBA GPP Plays: November 10
DraftKings NBA GPP Plays: November 10
DraftKings has a solid eight game slate tonight. I encourage you to track injury updates closely to help you find potentially profitable value plays. We will keep track of it on the Fantasy CPR Twitter feed the best we can! If you want to be successful in NBA DFS, it is important stay connected all the way up until game lock.
Last night’s NBA $15K Stretch Four had a cash line at 282.5 DraftKings points and a winning score of 366 DraftKings points. The top lineup had a massive game from James Harden, great value from Jeff Green and a big game from Jrue Holiday at only 2.6 percent ownership.
Be aware of players with multiple position eligibility. Throughout this column, players might not be listed at their true position due to a lack off depth at another spot. Using positional flexibility could give you the edge to take down a DraftKings NBA GPP plays.
Let’s jump into tonight’s slate!
DraftKings NBA GPP Plays: November 10 – Point Guards
Elite
Damian Lillard ($9,400) vs. BKN
Lillard is one of my top plays on the slate in a great matchup against poor D’Angelo Russell defense and a major pace-up environment. He has a 30.1 percent true usage rate and is a lock for minutes in at least the mid-30s. He is averaging 45.7 DraftKings points this season despite coming off a 26.75 DraftKings point performance against the Grizzlies. Prior to last game, Lillard had scored at least 30 points in four straight games. His solid rebounding and assist numbers increase both his ceiling and floor.
Mid-Tier
D’Angelo Russell ($7,400) vs. POR
Russell will continue to have a capped ceiling as long as the Nets rotation keeps him playing around 30 minutes. Regardless, he drives the offense by filling multiple categories. This is probably the most appealing game to target, so if you’re going for a balanced roster, Russell should be in consideration.
Dennis Schroder ($7,300) vs. DET
Like Russell, Schroder is the main force behind the Hawks offense. He should see at least 30 minutes of court time against Reggie Jackson whose -2.98 DRPM is one of the league’s worst. Schroder hasn’t attempted less than 13 shots in a game and has shot less than 45 percent from the field only twice.
Value
Donovan Mitchell ($5,200) vs. MIA
Mitchell is a great value point guard play, especially if he can get his shot to fall. He attempted 21 shots last game, but only hit three of them. His peripheral stats aren’t extremely impressive, but they’re enough to give him a 40-point ceiling. Mitchell has carved out a defined role in this Utah offense.
DraftKings NBA GPP Plays: November 10 – Shooting Guards
Elite
Victor Oladipo ($7,500) vs. CHI
I won’t be paying up at the position tonight, but Oladipo still makes for a solid play. He has the best true usage rate on the slate among starter shooting guards. Oladipo hasn’t shot the ball well lately, but continues to get plenty of looks. He has 50 DraftKings point upside and with Damontas Sabonis out, he’ll continue to have an increased role.
Evan Fournier ($7,200) vs. PHO
Fournier has been on of the most consistent shooting guards this season, scoring under 30 DraftKings points only twice. He’s averaging 35.4 DraftKings points with a ceiling in the upper 40s. Fournier has a good matchup against the Suns in what should be a high scoring affair. The suns are ranked 27th in DvP against shooting guards this season.
Mid-Tier
Justin Holiday ($5,800) vs. IND
One of my favorite plays in this price range, Holiday has been a headache due to his inconsistent shooting this season. He’s been rebounding well this year, which has saved his floor a bit. Still, if Holiday can find his shot, he should be able to crush value. The Bulls rely on Holiday for much of their offensive production.
Kent Bazemore ($5,300) vs. DET
It is a possibility that Aver Bradley matches up on Schroder tonight, which would give Bazemore a big bump. He’s far from consistent when it comes to fantasy production, which is what makes him a great GPP play at this price tag. Bazemore is averaging almost two steals per game, giving him value at both ends of the floor.
Value
Denzel Valentine ($4,300) vs. ORL
Valentine has scored at least 25 DraftKings points in each of the last three games and has created an expanded role for himself off the bench. His minutes are inconsistent, but at this price tag he should be able to reach value even in capped playing time.
DraftKings NBA GPP Plays: November 10 – Small Forwards
Elite
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,500) vs. SA
My favorite play on the slate is Giannis. Nobody on the Spurs has a chance at slowing him down. He’s averaging 56.7 DraftKings points per game and has seen his price tag drop from $12,500 four games ago. There’s nothing Giannis can’t do and as long as the game stays close, he’ll continue to see heavy minutes. Eric Bledsoe is expected to make his debut tonight, so we’ll have to wait and see what the new Bucks offense looks like. Bledsoe’s presence will only impact the Bucks supporting pieces.
Mid-Tier
Tobias Harris ($6,600) vs. ATL
Harris is one of my favorite mid-tier plays due to his consistent minutes and prominent offensive role. He’s made at least one three-pointer in every game this season and has shot well from beyond the arc. The Hawks rank 23rd in DvP against small forwards. I expect Harris to continue his solid play tonight.
Marcus Smart ($5,300) vs. CHA
There’s a chance Smart could see an even bigger role tonight with Jayson Tatum questionable and Al Horford ruled out. He’s been cold from the field, but his contributions in assists, rebounds and steals keep his floor high. Smart went 3-for-11 from the field last game but still reached 27.5 DraftKings points.
Value
Luke Babbitt ($3,700) vs. DET
If you’re looking to roster multiple stars tonight, then you’re going to need to find some cheap value plays. Babbitt has seen a massive increase in minutes due to injuries in the Atlanta frontcourt. At this price tag, Babbitt doesn’t need to do much to hit value, but still has good upside if he can get hot from deep.
Wesley Johnson ($3,700) vs. OKC
With Danilo Gallinari out, Johnson has been called upon to fill in. In his first game in the starting lineup, Johnson finished with 26 DraftKings points. The veteran wing can knock down the open deep ball, so if his shot is on tonight, don’t be surprised by a repeat performance.
DraftKings NBA GPP Plays: November 10 – Power Forwards
Elite
Blake Griffin ($8,600) vs. OKC
I don’t necessarily like the matchup for Griffin tonight, but his floor and high usage make him attractive. Forwards are thin tonight, so if you’re looking to pay up, Griffin is your guy. Griffin is a lock for a high workload and has a ceiling around 50 DraftKings points. With Gallinari and Patrick Beverley out, he should have even more responsibility on offense.
Mid-Tier
Aaron Gordon ($7,600) vs. PHO
Gordon has been having a career year now that he’s back playing power forward. The Magic are in a pace up game with the second highest implied total on the slate. The Suns rank 26th in DvP against power forwards and with Tyson Chandler questionable, there could be a lack of interior defense.
Value
Frank Kaminsky ($4,100) vs. BOS
The Celtics have the personnel to go small, which could run Dwight Howard off the court and give Kaminsky extra run. His ability to stretch the floor would make him effective in such a style of play. His standard minutes are in the mid-20s, which limits his ceiling a bit.
Daniel Theis ($3,000) vs. CHA
Theis reached tournament value in his last game with increased playing time due to Horford’s absence. With Horford out again, Theis is in another good spot to reach value at bare minimum price. His athleticism should keep him in this game even if it ends up going small. Theis does plenty of little things to give him fantasy value.
DraftKings NBA GPP Plays: November 10 – Centers
Elite
Andre Drummond ($8,800) vs. ATL
The center position isn’t as deep as it usually is tonight. Drummond is the only center I’d be willing to pay up for. He’s a monster on the glass and the Hawks frontcourt is depleted at the moment. Drummond has been used more in the high post this season, which has given him playmaking opportunities. If center is where you want to spend, Drummond is your guy.
Mid-Tier
Jusuf Nurkic ($6,800) vs. BKN
Before last night’s dud, Nurkic had scored at least 40 DraftKings points in three straight games. As long as Nurkic gets the looks he should have a solid game tonight against the Nets who are miserable at defending the paint. It’s a great way to get exposure to this high scoring game.
Pau Gasol ($5,800) vs. MIL
Gasol has been quietly consistent this season despite only reaching 30 minutes once. The veteran big man should be able to feast against the weak interior of the Bucks. Even though LMA has been the lead man offensively this season, there’s no reason Gasol can’t put up 35 DraftKings points tonight.
Value
Aaron Baynes ($4,300) vs. CHA
We saw what he did last game with Horford out. The matchup is a little different with Dwight Howard down low, but Kyrie Irving should draw enough attention to get him some easy buckets. I wouldn’t rely on another 34.6 DraftKings point performance tonight, but 6-7x should be within reach.
