Hornets at Celtics live stream: How to watch online
By Dre Elder
The red-hot Boston Celtics welcome the Charlotte Hornets to TD Garden on Friday, Nov. 10. Here is how you can watch the game online.
The Boston Celtics are the hottest team in the NBA. They have won 10 consecutive games after opening the season 0-2. Yes, prized free-agent signing, Gordon Hayward, is likely out for the season, but this team remains steadfast. The Celtics lost two of their best perimeter defenders in the offseason. However, Boston is currently the league’s best defensive team, with a Defensive Rating of 95.6. Surprisingly, Kyrie Irving has helped spearhead this stifling defense. Irving is averaging 2.08 steals per game, which ranks fourth in the NBA. He’s been deliberate about offering resistance on the defensive end. Consequently, Boston remains a threat in the East despite the loss of Hayward.
On the contrary, the Charlotte Hornets appear to be mediocre. They rank 16th in both Offensive and Defensive Rating. The Hornets are currently 5-6 and have lost three straight. Kemba Walker is putting up 21.8 points and 6.2 assists per game. But, the Hornets lack the necessary scoring depth to supplement Walker. Jeremy Lamb has filled in nicely for the injured Nicolas Batum, but it’s not enough to compete with elite teams.
