Here are five things that you may have missed during the last week of NBA action.

While this week in the National Basketball Association has had plenty of on-court action, a lot has happened off the court. From fines to memes to politics, this week around the association has had it all. Superstars have dominated headlines both on and off the court, as well. LeBron James has had a bit of fun with the Cavaliers’ current situation and his Team USA teammate and current Warriors foward, Draymond Green, had a bit of fun with the situation as well.

Meanwhile, the surprises remain out in full effect in the association. The Magic and Celtics continue to roll atop the East with the Detroit Pistons currently sitting in the second seed. Following a hot start over in the West, the Clippers have fallen and have undergone a reality check — they now have a record of 5-5. The Thunder and Cavaliers continue to underperform, as well. As expected, the Rockets and Warriors have continued to sit atop the West and steamroll opponents. Harden is coming for revenge following last year’s MVP ‘snub’. It’s ‘no Chris Paul, no problems’ time in Houston as H-Town continues to be treated to the James Harden show.

A few injuries, albeit minor, have sidelined multiple superstars this week. Kevin Durant and Kristaps Porzingis have both missed games within the last week, but are expected back in the near future. As the season rolls on, the NBA becomes more and more dominated by fun, wacky and unexpected headlines. Catch up on everything else you missed this week in the NBA here.
