The Rutgers Scarlet Knights face the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday Nov. 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

It has been a rough two weeks for the James Franklin and his boys. After blowing a huge lead against Ohio State, you would have figured that they would come out and beaten their next opponent. Instead, they lost to Michigan State 27-24. Two weeks ago, Penn State was in the thick of the playoff hunt, and now, they need a little luck just to get into the Big 10 championship. Penn State needs a team to play where they can just take out all of their frustration. Luckily, Rutgers is just the team they need.

Penn State has been carried this year by their running Saquon Barkley. Barkley has a total of 864 rushing yards, 504 receiving yards, and 12 total touchdowns. If Penn State is going to bounce back and get back to their winning ways, they are going to need to have Barkley go back to the way he was playing through the first five games.

Rutgers is just below .500, but most of their losses have come in blowout fashion, being outscored 121-28 against Washington, Ohio State and Michigan. Rutgers may be struggling, but Gus Edwards sure isn’t. Edwards has over 630 yards and six touchdowns this year. Edwards is definitely carrying the offense, but will it be enough to top Trace McSorley and the Nittany Lions.

Rutgers is going to have a very tall task this weekend at Beaver Stadium. Penn State has lost two games in a row, and I can bet that they do not want to make it three, especially in from of their own home crowd. Expect to see Penn State come out hot and put up a big lead right out of the gate. Rutgers has been a let down this year, and Penn State is out to get back to their winning ways. This game could get ugly, as Penn State needs someone to take their anger out on.
