Best NFL highlights from Week 10: A new Catch of the Year candidate

What week of football. We saw a great Thursday Night Football matchup followed by a fantastic slate of afternoon games. It’s a great way to lead us into a classic Patriots-Broncos matchup on Sunday Night Football.

This week we saw everything from last-second field goals to fake punts. Here are the 10 best NFL highlights of the week.

10. Donte Moncrief goes DEEP

The Colts lost a heartbreaker to the Steelers today but they sure gave them some fits. This included a 60-yard touchdown to Donte Moncrief in the second quarter. Jacoby Brissett found Moncrief in stride down the left side of the sidelines for the opening score of the game. The Steelers secondary had absolutely no chance on the play.

When T.Y. Hilton isn’t scoring the long bombs, Moncrief is there to make up for it. That touchdown gave Jacoby Brissett four 60-yard passes on the season, just shy of leader Alex Smith. The Colts still have long ways to go but Brissett is providing some firepower with Andrew Luck out.

9. Have a day, Austin Ekeler

Have yourself a day Austin Ekeler. Let’s be honest, none of us know who the heck he was before coming into this game but Ekeler put on a show. He finished with two receiving touchdowns including this tightrope masterpiece down the sidelines.

Ekeler caught the pass from Philip Rivers, was able to avoid a tackle and tiptoed his way down the sidelines and into the end zone. It was an incredible display of balance and athleticism from the undrafted rookie running back out of Western State. The Chargers suffered a deflating loss but Ekeler was a bright spot. Everyone will be scrambling to add him to their fantasy team this upcoming week.
