The field to make the College Football Playoff is narrowing. These three teams still have a chance at making it in.

With each passing week, the field to make the College Football Playoff continues to get more narrow. The Week 12 College Football Playoff rankings are officially in and there are two new teams in the fold this week.

With Georgia and Notre Dame both suffering blowout losses, they have fallen out of the rankings. However, the Bulldogs will still have a chance at making it in if they can win out and defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide.

It’s hard for a two-loss team to make the College Football Playoff, but that might soon be a serious discussion if any of the top teams drop any more games on the season. With their undefeated record remaining, Alabama is back in the top spot again.

They are joined by Miami, Clemson and Oklahoma. Two ACC teams currently reside in the top four at the moment and it’s been quite the year for both programs. After sitting on the outside looking in for two weeks, Oklahoma finally pushed their way in after a huge win over TCU.

For those teams not in the top four, there still exists the possibility of getting in. At this point, the whole thing could devolve into chaos and then the door will be open for other potential two-loss teams as well. For now, these three teams aren’t dead yet.
