12. Ben Roethlisberger (Prev: 8)

Roethlisberger talked about retirement before the season began, and as the games play out, perhaps his time is truly near. The two-time champion looks diminished, especially when trying to throw the ball downfield or outside the numbers. Roethlisberger still have enough to be effective, but his days of being a top-flight quarterback are behind him.

11. Kirk Cousins (Prev: 10)

Cousins is third in passing yardage with 2,474 and has 14 touchdown passes despite a lousy group of receivers. When he hits free agency this March, he is going to get offer exceeding $30 million/year with $100 million in guarantees. Look out.

10. Matt Ryan (Prev: 11)

Ryan and the Falcons finally got off the deck on Sunday, beating up on the Cowboys. Ryan is struggling to replicate his MVP season, but 2,372 yards with a 66.6 completion rate isn’t terrible.

9. Matthew Stafford (Prev: 9)

If Stafford played for a different franchise, say the Packers, he would be lauded as a potential Hall of Famer with a Super Bowl win or two. Instead, his season of 2,461 yards (fourth-best) and 17 touchdowns (sixth) is largely ignored. Stafford has been terrific for the Lions.
